If one thing's certain it's that you will need somewhere to hold your reception assuming of course that you're having one. There are also many smaller venues such as restaurants that can cater for weddings. Quite often these will offer menu's that can be tailored to your requirements rather than their standard menu so it's a good idea to ask what they can provide.
